:D Another shot of Devil's Darning Needle", Halloween Pennant Dragonfly (Celithemis eponina). :aww: I just love his silly face. :D

 As you could see, I'm back from Chesapeake Bay, worse for wear but in one piece. :lmao: Catching up will take some time. :D

Chesapeake Bay? That's my neck of the woods! We got over a foot of snow last weekend and now a nor'easter is bearing down on us and threatening to drown us all or at the very least make us very wet lol.

This photo is so awesome, it's smiling for the camera!

 We never sailed as far down Chesapeake as Virginia. Usually we stick around Annapolis area, mostly because I'm not really a big fan of the Bay (my hubby loves it though). :lmao: I prefer fresh water lake - if I have to get on the boat. ;)

:omg: A foot of snow as prelude to Nor'easter sounds like disaster. :faint: We got maybe 5 inches yesterday and shouldn't be in the heaviest snowfall area for tomorrow, but we still had ground covered by snow from previous storm so totals could get crazy too. :faint: It's freezing cold here for weeks so nothing taws. :O_o:

:aww: Thanks for the compliment. :blushes: It is one of my favorite shots. :aww: maybe because I never again managed to stalk this kind of Dragonfly close enough for a shot.

Double check the weather, they are saying that towards the Baltimore/DC area that they are going to get the worst of it as far as the snow goes. It's a monster storm heading our way, like the one a couple of months ago that flooded everything because it just WOULD NOT GO AWAY! LOL.

Not sure if I should get my boat out or the skis....could go either way right now. Snow or torrential rain.

Yeah, I still have about 8" of snow in my backyard so this is not looking good. My road just got cleared out this morning....just in time for more to fall! At least the photos are awesome.

My husband is in the Navy, he loves the bay, he loves water period lol. But he really loves it for fishing.

*Beep* and back to our regularly scheduled photo discussion haha.

I thought this guy was an Eastern Pondhawk. Looks alot like one but more yellow. Don't you love those once in a lifetime shots? Dragonflies are really good for that. This is mine [link] I will never get that lucky again (far as colors goes).
