Some people might be freaked out by them, but I've always thought that praying mantis bugs are beautiful creatures. :) And cute, too!
Such a lovely green color; with brilliant, shiny eyes.


I wish I could take such awesome snapshots of the insects around where I live, but they always seem to fly/run away before I can take a decent picture. :D The buggers! HI wish they would hold still!

:laughing: It's easy to be freaked out by Mantis as they often assume threatening poses. But I agree that they are extremely cute. :nod: :D Plus they have surprisingly so many facial expressions. :omfg:

I think we're in for it this winter! :fear: Seems very similar to last year.

I had to clean the chimney yesterday and bring in some wood, just in case, it's getting cold.
