 The only time I could stand Canada Geese is during the Spring, when they have goslings, but I never tried to shoot them before. :lmao: Today I needed some calming down (after a rather nerve-wracking accident while rigging the boat) so I took after one mama goose and her six babies.

:D Scraps soon too.

So very cute but be careful mama bites.

What did you do rigging your boat?

 She was hissing at me shortly after. But took to the water instead of attacking. :phew:

:O_o: We put the mast up and hubby started to attach the forestay, with jib furling system on it. He had some issue with pushing the sleeve up so he asked me to leave the mast and keep the forestay. Then he tugged the darn furler down and the whole mast came crashing down after breaking free from the foot. When I heard the crack and turned around it was too late to do anything but try to slow the fall and control it so it didn't crash the boat and snap shrouds to pieces. It's 27 feet long and rather heavy. We managed - with a lot of luck at the side of stupid - to break only the wind indicator on top. :phew: The rivets snapped so even foot of the mast isn't damaged. Bot I will see that huge piece of heavy equipment coming down straight on my head for weeks to come. :faint:

:lmao: I love goslings. But adult geese is messy, poops around, makes noise, turns every grass patch into a bathroom, and blocks traffic on roads when I am in a hurry. :shakefist:

;) And they don't eat worms. You must confuse them with robins. :giggle:
