but these look a lot like nectarine blossoms.

Our resident 'Namethisflower' has told me it's either a Prunus (flower cherry) or Malus (crabapple), definitely a member of Rosaceae.
I've yet to stump Mr ~Althytrion, he knows too much:paranoid:
