Edit: 03/08/2008.
Thanks to Carole's, *Cmac13, suggestion I made the inner frame a little ticker. Plus I adjusted its color a tad, to separate it from the flower. 
I think it solved my problem with the image.

Another one from my favorite shots reworked for Out-Of-Frame effect, Tiger Lily from Me, Tiger, you...??? shot. And botched terribly. 
It doesn't have the feel I wanted it to have but I can't put my finger on what's wrong. 
Maybe lack of patience?
