Artist's Comments I'm afraid I'll soon run out of *common* names of this flower to put as a title. I already used most of them.   Bleeding Heart, Dicentra spectabilis, one of my favorite Spring flowers.  Dicentra comes from the Greek words dis – two, and kentron – spur, which refers to the flowers having two spurs. Spectabilis means spectacular. The plant is also known as 'Mary's heart', 'lady's locket', 'Lyre flower', and of course 'lady's eardrops'. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
